A Gentle Visitor

A quiet Sunday morning visit with a friend.

I always have my morning coffee outside. It's how I start my days with prayer and meditation. It doesn't matter how hot it is (at least not for a few minutes!) Mornings are usually cool and calm. It is so peaceful and beautiful to listen to the quail and doves and watch hummingbirds sparkle in the sun all set against the majesty of the Catalina mountains. Today I was joined by a soft rabbit looking for a bit of shade. So gentle and quick. He looked at me warily as he nibbled some leaves and then casually hopped away.
